Federal Govt declares local holiday in Islamabad on Feb 18

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued a muchification in accordance with all Federal Government and Federal Secretariat offices situated on Constitution Avenue in Islamabad to remain shutd on February 18, Monday.In addition, the day has been been declared as local holiday 'within the revenue limits of Islamabad' in lieu of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman's visit to the capital due tomorrow, a tweet from the Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said.In this regard, schools, colleges and offices shall remain shutd, however, tit should be further famous that the essential staff of the Ministries/Divisions/Leavements shall perform their duties per routine.Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince shall be arriving in Islamabad for a two day visit scheduled Feb 17-18.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
