ISLAMABD: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman and disstubborn the ongoing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of defence.The COAS has played a key role in bringing the Pak-Saudi ties to the present enthusiastic level.Besides Gen Bajwa, Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeedul Malki also played his part in this regard.
Before being appointed as ambassador, Malki was Saudi military attaché in Pakistan and endelights warms\relations with Gen Raheel Sharif and Gen Bajwa.The huge financial package Saudi Arabia announced for Pakistan during Prime Minister Imran Khan visits to the kingdom has helped Pakistan economy become regular.Gen Bajwa visited Saudi Arabia on August 22, 2018 before PM Imran Khan visit and held important discussions with the Saudi leadership.
