Pakistan Airlines has offered to bring back home to Pakistan the prisoners from Saudi Arabia.
According to the PIA Spokesperson PIA President and CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik has offered that the national flag carrier is ready to bring back the Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi Arabia once released.
Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the release of 2,107 Pakistani prisoners being held in his country at the request of Pakistani leader Imran Khan on Monday.On confirmation, PIA President and CEO in a message to the government made the offer saying that it is shall be an honour for Pakistan Airlines to carry out this duty.
He congratulated both Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for making the prisoners release possible.
Meanwhile a assembly at PIA Head Office was held on the readiness of fleet and other arrangements whenever required for the purpose.
PIA spokesperson added that they have instructed their offices in Saudi Arabia to coordinate with the Pakistan Embassy and Consulates.They are waiting for the government plan and strategy in this regard and shall make flight planning as soon as they are given the green sign.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
