DUBAI: Previous president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has backed Prime Minister Imran Khan comments on Indian allegations over Pulwama attack.Pervez Musharraf told India Today that Pulwama attack was a terrible incident to have occurred, but there was no reason to believe that the Pakistan government was party to it.The India Today quoted Musharraf as saying, fresh Delhi had been wrongly accusing Pakistan over everything.
Now it time India should stop this blame game, he said.PM Imran Khan, on Tuesday, guaranteed India of action if actionable evidence of Pulwama attack is shared with Pakistan.Replying to India on the state-turn PTV on the Pulwama incident, Imran offered cooperation in investigation into the attack if any Pakistani was involved.
&I give guarantees that action shall be taken if actionable evidence is shared.
Not because of presdegree from any side, but for the fact that it is in the interest of Pakistan,& he made it clear. He said if any Pakistani was involved and he was using the Pakistani soil, then he is the country enemy, ‘as this was against our interests&.
However, Imran said there were voices being raised in India and politicians there were also saying that Pakistan should be taught a lesson and revenge be taken and that there should be strikes inside Pakistan.&First of all, which law anywhere in the world allows any person or a country to become a judge, jury and executioner What kind of justice is this Indeed it is your election year and you think by teaching Pakistan a lesson, there shall be an election boost for you.But if you think that you shall mount an attack on Pakistan, then Pakistan shall much just think about retaliating, we shall retaliate.
There shall be no way to reply other than to retaliate,& he warned.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
