ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday banned Jama&at-ud-Da'wah and its charity organisation Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation.It was decided in the National Security Committee assembly held here nowadays, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, along with discussing the Pulwama attack and the present tensions with India.He directed the interior ministry and the security agencies to expedite an instant crackdown against the extremist elements in the country.A spokesman of Ministry of Interior has said that the NSC assembly reviewed the National Action plot in detail.
It was decided during the assembly to accelerate action against proscribed organisations.
It was further decided that Jamat-ut-Dawa and Falah-e- Insaniat Foundation be muchified as proscribed organisations by the Ministry of Interior.The Prime Minister gave the Pakistan Army full authority to befittingly reply to any Indian misadventure or other things within Pakistan.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
