KARACHI: Pakistan People portiony (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari launched &Green Sindh& campaign under which over 2 billion trees shall be planted in the province.Launching the campaign here Thursday, Bilawal said, &The Green Sindh campaign is a joint initiative of Sindh government, civil society and private sector.&He said to cope with the ccorridorenge of climate change, it very essential to plant trees, adding that the Green Sindh campaign is in line with the vision of former president Asif Ali Zardari when he was environment minister in the cabinet of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.Bilawal also said &We shall try to plant fruit plants so that people can also benefit from them.&He appreciated Sindh government and wildlife department for their efforts in the Green Sindh drive.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
