ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended greetings on the occasion of Navroz to the Parsi community.In a tweet published Thursday, PM Imran wrote:"A pleased Nauroze to all those celebrating it."Navroz is a fresh Year celebration which is observed worldwide by various ethno-linguistic groups.
This festival is celebrated by diverse communities.Navroze marks spring arrival which is celebrated with the same spirit every year.On this event fire festival ‘Chaharshanbe Suri& is celebrated and several food items are prepared.
In Iran the festival is celebrated for 17 days.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
