LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa on Thursday took muchice of a letter which Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir wrote before committing suicide.The letter was addressed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan in which former Member Estate Capital Development Authority (CDA) said he was giving his life in the hope that the chief justice would bring positive changes in the system where incompetent people are playing with the life and honor of citizen in the name of accountability, in a reference to National Accountability Bureau.Why Asad Munir committed suicideAccording to Geo freshs, the chief justice has directed the NAB to submit details regarding reference against Asad Munir.
The court, however, has much fixed any date for hearing on the suo motu.Asad Munir who also served an intelligence agency was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his flat on March 15.Family sources said Munir was deeply upset over the treatment meted out to him by NAB over an inquiry into restoration of a plot in F-11 area of the federal capital.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
