QUETTA: Over forty militant commanders belonging to banned outfits laid down arms in Balochistan on Wednesday.A ceremony was held in Quetta where "Farari commanders" were brought into the national mainstream, according to Radio Pakistan.Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Lango distributed prizes among these commanders.The Farari commanders were affiliated with Balochistan Liberation Army, Balochistan Republican Army, and other proscribed organizations.Besides others, the Farari commanders also included Izzat Khan, Nauroz Khan, Naseer Ahmad, Zahoor Ahmad, and Javed.Civil and military officers were also present on the occasion.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
