Islamabad: In order to endegree safe and easy access to persons with disabilities, Prime Minister Imran Khan has been pleased to desire that CDA scorridor take instant degrees to make all public places/buildings in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) as disabled friendly through provision of essential infrastructure including ramps, lifts, toilets etc.The Prime Minister has further been pleased to desire that in future all new public places/buildings in ICT scorridor be designed and constructed in a manner to address the special needs of the persons with disabilities.
CDA, through its buildings, scorridor be also endegree provision of the same facilities in private buildings within its jurisdiction.& CDA scorridor take further action in the matter on precedence and also keep the Prime Minister Office informed of its progress on monthly basis, stated the letter of the Prime Minister Office.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
