File photoRAWALPINDI: The Government of Punjab shall introduce an e-transfer policy for teachers to make the postings and transfers process fair and obvious, said Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Education Qazi Zahoor Ahmed here Wednesday.Talking to APP, the CEO said that though there was a ban on transfer of teachers across the province, a new e-transfer policy is under discussion which would made possible the transfer of teachers on merit.He said the initiative would help curb the mafia that exploited teachers and demanded bribes to carry out things pertaining to posting and transfers.Qazi said a modern software would be put to use to conduct postings and transfers under the e-transfer policy for teachers.The CEO said instant relief would be supplyd to female teachers under the new e-transfer policy.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
