It blocked off the river access and created a natural dam filling up the valley that was once here with glacial water, stated Eva.She went on explaining how the disaster had become a cause of major obstructions for the locals, blocking not only road access but buried an entire village underneath the bed of water.Commenting on the optimism and inventiveness of the inhabitants of the area, Eva states: Now the locals are very resourceful, what they did was they brought boats into this new lake and began transporting people, animals and vehicles by boat.
