The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) had arrested two persons for spreading false information regarding the Coronavirus (Covid-19) on social media, said DIG AjithRohana addressing a media briefing on the Coronavirus issue at the Government Information Department a short while ago.
He said 40 suspects who had engaged in spreading misinformation related to the coronavirus have also been identified.
