
Brazils XMobots has revealed a new battery-powered electrical vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) unmanned aerial lorry (UAV), the Nauru 100D, meant to perform monitoring and battle missions.
The Nauru 100D was unveiled at the LAAD Defence & & Security expo in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 30 March.CEO of XMobots Giovani Amianti informed Janes on 2 April thatproduction [has] currently commenced with a test great deal of 20 systems, and that the business had currently started to receive orders.
Future production, Amianti stated, will be figured out by future orders.Nauru 100D is developed to be manportable, with a weight of 9 kg and a length of 2.1 m.
The system is transferred in 2 cases, one for the vehicle and the other for the control system and payloads.
The UAV has a maximum flight endurance of around 2 hours, a variety of 30 km, and a functional height ceiling of around 400 ft (120 m).
