NEW DELHI: Shares of PNB Housing Finance (down 6.04 per cent), MRPL (down 5.98 per cent) and KRBL (down 5.66 per cent) cracked up to 6 per cent on NSE during Thursday's trade.PTI reported on Wednesday that PNB Housing Finance is planning to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore in one or more tranches by issuing bonds through public issue.Shares of KNR Construct (down 5.13 per cent), Dilip Buildcon (down 4.99 per cent), V Mart Retail (down 4.95 per cent), Adani Green Energy (down 4.93 per cent), GVK Power Infra (down 4.74 per cent) and Bhushan Steel (down 4.72 per cent) plunged up to 5 per cent.Action Construction Equipment (down 4.43 per cent), Sequent Scientific (down 4.19 per cent), Majesco (down 4.17 per cent), Manpasand Beverages (down 4.16 per cent) and Ramkrishna Forgings (down 4.15 per cent) declined over 4 per cent.The NSE Nifty index was trading 9 points down at 10,663, while the BSE Sensex was flat at 35,215 around 10:55 am.Weak global cues, falling rupee and surging global crude oil prices were keeping equity markets subdued.
Moreover, investors were on the sidelines on the last of June series of future and option contracts.
In the Nifty index, 19 stocks were in the green, while 31 were in the red.Titan, Tech Mahindra and ICICI Bank were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
