NEW DELHI: Shares of Kolte - Patil Developers (down 5.84 per cent), EID Parry India (down 5.83 per cent), Adani Enterprises (down 5.79 per cent) and Den Networks (down 5.08 per cent) plunged over 5 per cent during Monday's trade.Stocks such as JSPL (down 4.57 per cent), 8K Miles Software Services (down 4.28 per cent), Welspun Enterprises (down 4.26 per cent) and Taj GVK Hotels (down 4.14 per cent) tanked over 4 per cent.Market sentiment was negative amid mixed global cues.
Strong selling was witnessed in energy, FMCG, utilities, metal and power sector.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 69 points down at 10,645, while the BSE Sensex was down 206 points at 35,218 around 11 am.In the Nifty index, 17 stocks were in the green, while 33 were in the red.NTPC, ONGC, Hindalco and Vedanta were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
