NEW DELHI: Realty stocks Sobha (up 3.96 per cent) and DLF (up 3.95 per cent) were trading with decent gains during the last hour of Friday's session.The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.53 per cent up at 269 around 02:55 pm.
Shares of Housing Development Infrastructure (HDIL) (up 1.52 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.06 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.04 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.54 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.30 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.22 per cent) were also among the gainers.
Meanwhile, Unitech (down 2.38 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.22 per cent) were under pressure around that time.
Market sentiment was positive amid mixed global cues.Buying in heavyweights Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, Larsen Toubro and Hero MotoCorp were keeping equity benchmarks in the green.The NSE Nifty50 index was up 44 points at 10,793, while the BSE Sensex was up 162 points at 35,737.Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
HPCL, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Indian Oil Corporation and Grasim Industries were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.
