NEW DELHI: Shares of Zenith Exports (up 19.42 per cent), Sathavahana Ispat (up 14.52 per cent), Raj Rayon Industries (up 14.29 per cent), FCS Software Solutions (up 14.29 per cent) and Future Market Networks (up 12.90 per cent) zoomed over 12 per cent on NSE during the early trade on Thursday.Equity benchmarks moved up a little shrugging off weakness in global stocks and concerns over surging oil prices.
The NSE Nifty50 index was up 15 points at 10,433, while the BSE Sensex was up 95 points at 34,036.Shares of Praxis Home Retail (up 10 per cent), Harrisons Malayalam (up 10 per cent), Weizmann (up 9.77 per cent) and IFB Agro Industries (up 8.67 per cent) climbed up to 10 per cent on NSE.Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were still in the red.IT stocks HCL Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Elxsi, Infosys and Wipro were among the top gainers during Thursday's trade, buoyed by fresh fall in the Indian rupee against the US dollar.Besides IT, select auto stocks including Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
However, oil stocks including BPCL, HPCL and Indian Oil Corporation declined over 2 per cent in the Nifty index.
