Russian consumers will be able to purchase the newly revealed iPhone 14 in Russia regardless of Apple's exit from the marketplace over the intrusion of Ukraine, a federal government minister said Thursday.
If consumers wish to purchase these phones, you're welcome.
They will have that opportunity, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov told state-run RIA Novosti news agency.Apple stopped all item sales in Russia after the country attacked Ukraine in February. But Apple smart devices continued streaming into Russia via the Russian federal government's sanctions-busting parallel imports plan in which products are re-exported to Russia without consent from the trademark owner.
Imported smartphones and other electronic goods initially intended for sale in other countries-- frequently surrounding post-Soviet states-- featured cost in Russia approximately 20% greater than prior to the invasion.Manturov, who was speaking on the sidelines of Russia's Eastern Economic Forum in the Pacific port city of Vladivostok, did not indicate whether the parallel import iPhone 14 will cost more than the main price of $799 for the base model and $1,100 for the premium iPhone 14 Pro Max.
