Cops in the republic of Sakha (Yakutia) detained personnel at a nightclub afterofficials implicated the place of hosting efficiencies including transgender entertainers from Thailand, local media reported Thursday.The raid, carried out at the club Number One in Yakutsk, was triggered by a problem from the Yakutsk Administrative Commission, which accused the club of openly promoting non-traditional relationships and gender transition through performances by invited transgender men and women from Thailand.Photos and video published previously on Telegram supposedly showed the sensual efficiencies at Number One.Felix Antonov, head of the Yakutsk Administrative Commission, told SakhaDay.ru that the raid did not uncover the alleged transgender performers.
Police apprehended the clubs manager, bartenders and waitstaff, although it remains whether they face charges.Law enforcement authorities said they introduced an examination into the efficiencies, adding that they were looking for the supposed performers from Thailand.Russias Supreme Court prohibited the so-called international LGBT motion as extremist in 2023, effectively criminalizing any form of LGBTQ+ screens or rights advocacy in the nation.
