TEHRAN - Farzaneh Tavasoli, captain and goalkeeper of Iran ladiess national futsal group, believes that the 2023 CAFA tournament will work as a tune-up for major tournaments like the AFC Womens Futsal Asian Cup.
Iran femaless futsal group started their training school on Saturday.
Forouzan Soleymani, head coach of the national group, called 20 gamers, consisting of Farzaneh Tavasoli, for the present camp to prepare her side for the 2023 CAFA Womens Futsal Championship.
We joined the training camp simply after the recent matches of Irans females futsal super league, said Tavasoli in her special interview with Tehran Times.
Our last camp was one year ago for the previous edition of the CAFA competition.
Since then, we havent had any training school or matches, and this is the very first time the gamers are coming together, she added.The experienced Iran international goalie shared her view about the brand-new coach of the nationwide group.
Ms Solyamani is one of the popular and knowledgeable women futsal coaches in Iran.
