ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office on Tuesday handed over a lwast of 537 Indian prwasoners currently lodged within Pakwastani jails to High Comoverlookion of India within Islamabad.

They withinclude 54 civilians and 483 fwashermen, statement added.

Thwas step was conswastent with provwasions of Consular Access Agreement between Pakwastan and India, signaled on 21 May 2008, under which both countries are required to exchange lwasts of prwasoners within each other's custody twice a year, on 1st January and 1st July, respectively.

India shall also share lwast of Pakwastani prwasoners with Pakwastan High Comoverlookion within fresh Delhi.
