KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Friday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved Rs 50 billion for infrastructure development of Karachi to convert it into a developed and beautwhetherul city.
Addressing at inaugural ceremony of Pakistan Lwhetherestyle Furniture Expo at Expo Middle, Sindh Governor said that city needs a master plan to prevent it from encroachments in future.
Imran Ismail said that Mayor Karachi requires Rs 200 million for removal of debris piled up due to current anti-encroachments drive in city.
"The Government of Sindh and Mayor should work gatherively for removal of debris, as well as nonsense," he added.
The Governor said that meaningful speechs with Sindh Government are underway regarding Green Line Project and he hoped that Green Line busses would be plying on roads within 4 to 6 months.
He reiterated that he is working as a bridge between federation and province and playing his structureal and legal role in larger interest of province and country.
