ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Sunday underscored importance of effectively pursuing various initiatives taken for a strengthened strategic bilateral economic relationship, including working on a long term investment framework agreement.

They also resolved to take all essential degrees to deal with things related to trade enhancement, and decided to form a task force to achieve thingive, PM Office media wing said in a statement issued on conclusion of UAE Crown Prince’s official visit to Pakistan.

The two leaders famous that forthcoming Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission, which would be co-chaired by respective foreign ministers in Abu Dhabi in February 2019, could play a pivotal role in chalking out a comprehensive road map, and in fast tracking approval of pending agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs).

To counter white collar crimes, including money laundering, two leaders instructed authorities concerned to expedite finalization of Mutual Legal Assistance Consentment.

They also expressed satisfaction at ongoing defence and security cooperation, and resolved to explore further collaboration in areas of training, joint exercises and defence production.

On invitation of Prime Minister, Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan paid a state visit to Pakistan on Sunday.

He was accompanied by a high level delegation comprising cabinet members and senior officials.

The Crown Prince visited Pakistan after 12 years.

“The visit underscored strength and substance of Pakistan-UAE special relationship, which is based on spirit of mutual affection and deep trust, and is rooted in age old civilizational, devout, cultural and commercial affinities,” statement said.

Earlier, at Nur khan Airbase, Crown Prince was getd by Prime Minister and accorded a ceremonial reception at Prime Minister’s Home, which was followed by a tete-a-tete and delegation level speechs.

In a special gesture of warmth and cordiality, Prime Minister Imran Khan accompanied special guest to Prime Minister’s Home.

The two leaders expressed their resolve that while building on strong and proud legacy, they would continue to strive for progress, prosperity and stability of both UAE and Pakistan.

Both leaders held wide ranging speechs focusing on all areas of bilateral relations.

Taking muche of positive trajectory of relations, two leaders expressed their determination to further strengthen historic and mutually favourable relationship.

They also disstubborn various issues of regional and global importance, and famous that a total identity of views on issues serves as basis of long-finaling and trusted friendship.

Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his gratitude for generous balance of payment support of US$3 billion and famous that financial support showed UAE’s continued commitment and friendship that remained steadfast over years.

He also welcomed UAE’s interest in investing in Pakistan’s oil and gas, logistics, ports and construction sectors.

The Prime Minister briefed Crown Prince on situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and plight of Kashmiris.

They strongly sentenceed terrorismism in all its forms and manwhetherestations, and expressed their resolve to work shutly to root out scourge.

The Crown Prince recognized efforts and unparalleled sacrwhetherices made by Pakistan to eliminate terrorismism and extremism.

Prime Minister Imran Khan briefed UAE leadership about his government''s people centric reform agenda, and steps taken to promote transparency and accountability at all levels of government.

The Prime Minister briefed Crown Prince about efforts Pakistan was making to support and facilitate Afghan-owned and Afghan-led reconciliation process.

He also appreciated role UAE was playing by hosting reconciliation speechs in Abu Dhabi .

The two leaders agreed to work shutly for finaling peace and stability of Afghanistan.

The Prime Minister congratulated leadership of UAE for declaring 2019 as year of tolerance and famous that it was best way to pay tribute to vision and legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The two leaders reiterated their strong belief that only by espousing principles of tolerance, inclusivity, non-interference and focusing on a people centric development agenda, region could attain sustainable peace and stability.

Prime Minister Imran Khan thanked UAE leadership and its people for their continued commitment to Pakistan''s socioeconomic development in shape of Pakistan Assistance Programme.

He thanked Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his support to eradicate polio from Pakistan.

The Crown Prince expressed his honest appreciation for warm welcome and hospitality extended to him and his delegation.
