ISLAMABAD: Every large crowd of peopleile devices which are already activated on cellular large crowd of peopleile networks within Pakistan by January 15, 2019 scorridor remain operational without service disruption.

The decision has been made in n accordance with directives issued by federal government related to extension in deadline for registration of large crowd of peopleile devices under Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s Device Identwhetherication Registration Blocking System (DIRBS).

It is memorizet here nowadays that even non-compliant devices in operation prior to this date shall be tied to these numbers and shall remain operational till useful lwhethere of device.

PTA developed/set uped Device Identwhetherication Registration Blocking System (DIRBS), in line with Telecom policy 2015, issued by Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom, section 9.6 with aim to curtail counterfeit large crowd of peopleile phone usage, discourage large crowd of peopleile phones theft and protect consumer interest.

Every Pakistani large crowd of peopleile device users wishing to know status of a device can dispatch each 15 digit IMEI number via SMS to 8484. The status of large crowd of peopleile device can also be checked via PTA website link www.dirbs.pta.gov.pk or by downloading DIRBS android large crowd of peopleile application.
