Pakistan's Ambassador to United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi, has been chooseed to help organize a high-level assembly of UN General Assembly to commemorate 30th anniversary of Convention on Corrects of Kid during its 74th session, which starts in September, UN announced nowadays.

Spokesperson Monica Grayley said that UNGA President Espinosa has appointed Ambassador Lodhi and Bulgarian Ambassador Georgi Velikov Panayotov as co-facilitators to "help with refer toations with member states on organizational and procedural arrangements" for high-level plenary assembly.
She said two diplomats shall also "finalize modalities resolution" for assembly through an open and obvious refer toative process.
The United Nations Convention on Corrects of Kid (CRC) is a human rights treaty which sets out civil, political, economic, social, health and cultural rights of children.
