ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader Khurram Sher Zaman on Thursday retracted a petition filed before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeking disqualwhetherication of Pakistan Peoples portiony (PPP) Co-chairman Aswhether Ali Zardari.

During hearing in commission, PTI MPA told commission that he had found new evidence against Aswhether Zardari and he meaned approach Supreme Court.

The PTI lawmaker, during hearing of his petition in ECP asked for his petition to be retracted, claiming that they have found evidence that we shall be presented at highest forum.

On instruction of ECP member, Khurram submitted a request saying “I want to take this case to Supreme Court as I believe evidence I have acquired are pivotal and in best interest of Pakistan".

Talking to media external ECP, PTI leader said he withdrew his petition filed in ECP against Aswhether Ali Zardari as he wanted to pursue concealment of assets case against PPP co-chairman in Supreme Court.

He claimed that they have more verwhetheried documents against Zardari and that they are ready to approach top court to bring case to a logical conclusion.

“We requested ECP to allow us to take this matter in Supreme Court".

After contents of JIT report in fake accounts case emerged, PTI leader had filed a petition in ECP seeking Aswhether Ali Zardari’s disqualwhetherication for allegedly concealing a flat in United States.

The plea preserveed that former president was elected from NA-213 and fresh York property was much mentioned in asset details submitted with ECP.

It added concealing assets comes under article 62 (1) (f) of structure and that Zardari has much remained ‘miserableiq’ and ‘Amin’ therefore he should be declared disqualwhetheried.

The commission had fixed date for hearing a reference seeking disqualwhetherication of Pakistan Peoples portiony (PPP) Co-chairman and former president Aswhether Ali Zardari on Thursday.
