LAHORE: The names of counter terrorismism department officials involved in alleged shootout in Sahiwal have been disshutd in initial report of Joint Investigation Team (JIT).Sources privy to development has revealed that JIT has blamed CTD officials, who carried out operation. According to report, CTD officials showed negligence.According to report, shootout was carried out under CTD sub-examineor Safdar Hussain and while other officials include Ahsan Khan, Muhammad Ramzan, Sawhetherullah and Hussainain.The JIT has recommended that a case should be lodged against CTD officials.Earlier, family of Sahiwal incident victims had lodged a FIR against personnel of Punjab police of kidnapping Khalil&s family and then eliminateing them with a planned strategy on G.T Road on Saturday.16 unknown men have been named in complaint.The case was registered on complaint of Mohammad Jalil, a brother of Khalil, who was among those shot dead by CTD men.The FIR was lodged under Section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code and Section 7 of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.
