Hyderabad: The ruling Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) is upbeat following the record 89 percent ballot, the greatest in the past 3 elections, recorded in the Nagarjunasagar Assembly byelection on Saturday.TRS leaders said the higher ballot percentage in current Legal Council elections had operated in favour of TRS and the very same would be duplicated in Nagarjunasagar.

They exhibited confidence of protecting a bulk that would be higher than what was recorded in the 2018 December Assembly surveys.

In 2018, TRS candidate Nomula Narasimhaiah had actually won with a bulk of 7,726 votes over Congress candidate K.

Jana Reddy and TRS is positive that Narasimhaiah's kid Bhagat will exceed his father's margin of victory. The leaders declared that the higher survey percentage was due to the success of the celebration's 'micro-level booth management', under which it selected an in-charge for each 20 voters.Mission Chanakya, which anticipated BJP success in 2020 Dubbak Assembly bypoll, TRS triumph in 2018 Assembly polls and 2020 GHMC surveys correctly, observed that TRS has the edge over its rivals in Nagarjunasagar.

It made these observations after interacting with a voter-base of about 80,000 voters.

It was discovered that there was no anti-establishment wave against TRS.

Nagarjunasagar is mainly an agriculture-based constituency where 90 per cent of voters are farmers and TRS federal government's pro-farmer policies and schemes assisted it to garner the bulk support.

There was 'institutional assistance' for TRS which Congress and others lacked, stated Shiv Keshav Amuka from Objective Chanakya.TRS in-charge for Nagarjunasagar bypoll and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy revealed confidence that the party will maintain the seat with a higher majority compared to the previous election.

The reports acquired from our cadre from all locations in the constituency suggest that there was a positive vote in favour of TRS and we are confident of surpassing the 2018 majority, Reddy stated.
