ANANTAPUR: 2 medical professionals consisting of a Homeowner Medical Officer of Government Super Specialty Medical facility were suspended and show cause notifications were served on the Superintendent and 2 head nurses of the super-specialty medical facility here, for their declared neglect in providing prompt treatment to APMIP district job director who died at hospital.

Vijaya Bhaskar and two head nurses Mahalakshmi and Rajeswari to reply within 24 hours on the delay in repairing oxygen flow meters at the super-specialty hospital.The health center authorities looked out beforehand about the important condition of Subbarayudu and asked to make needed arrangements to provide emergency situation medical help.

They even stopped working to arrange a stretcher, it was explained.

The nodal officer kept the ICU bed prepared on the 2nd floor, staff negligence led to the death of a sincere authorities.

Meanwhile, Hindupur municipal 3rd ward planning secretary Harshavardhan Reddy was suspended by the municipal regional director over failure to collaborate with personnel in oxygen utilisation.

He ignored responsibilities at the hospital as the collaborating assistant, it was stated.
