NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Thursday set up a six-member panel of experts headed by a retired top court judge to supervise the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) probe in the Adani-Hindenburg case and suggest measures to strengthen existing regulatory framework.The panel constituted by the top court will be headed by retired SC judge Abhay Manohar Sapre and will include O P Bhat, Justice JP Devdhar, K V Kamat, Nandan Nilekani and Somasekhar Sundaresan.SEBI has been asked to complete the probe in two months and submit its report to the experts' panel in a sealed coverThe SC bench led by CJI D Y Chandrachud said constitution of expert panel by it does not divest Sebi of its duty to investigate the Hindeburg report.The expert committee will assess the existing regulatory framework and make recommendation to strengthen it to protect the investors, the CJI said.It will: a.
