KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 24An automated cause list management system has been launched at High Courts nationwide starting today. The world's first gene therapy for sickle cell disease has been approved in Britain Patan High Court refuses to register same sex marriage Chief Justice Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha inaugurated the system during a program at the High Court Patan.

With 18 high courts, including one in each province and temporary benches, the cause list will be determined through this automated system at all these courts from today.During the ceremony, Chief Justice Shrestha stated that the new system would enable service recipients to access services easily, enhancing the quality, transparency, and credibility of the service as the courts become fully technology-friendly. "We have introduced the automated system for determining the cause list at high courts after its success at the Supreme Court.

It is transparent, credible, and ensures quality, without being influenced by special requests.

This marks the first time in the judiciary's history that such a system has been initiated in high courts," said Chief Justice Shrestha. He mentioned that the IT Division of the Supreme Court alone made this system possible, and a study is underway to introduce this service at district courts in the coming days."There is no discrimination in determining the cause list through this system.

Collaborative work between the court and the bar is now more effective.

We are studying the possibility of managing a case registration system at the Supreme Court from one's own law firm in the near future.

This work has reached its final stage," he added.Chief Justice Shrestha noted that preparations are underway to create a situation where one does not have to physically go to court to obtain a court date.

Arrangements are being made to conduct online hearings at the Supreme Court and high courts. He also shared that preparations for online hearings are being made at the remaining high courts, special and labour courts, and the foreign employment tribunal. .
