According to the police, two people are missing as a result of floods in Dolakha and Dang.Jangmu Sherpa, 64, has gone missing, and three houses have been swept away in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality in Dolakha district.

Nima Geli Sherpa, chairperson of Gaurishankar-9, said Jangmu Sherpa went missing after being swept away by the flooded Rolwaling rivulet on Friday night.Several media outlets reported that one person went missing while two others were safely rescued after being washed away in the Rapti River near Lamhi in Dang.

The three Rajpur farmers, who had returned from selling milk at the Lamhi market in the morning, were caught in the flood while crossing the Rapti River.

Heavy rainfall has clogged the Sisneri-Dakshinkali section of the road.In Lalitpur, road sections from Tribhuvan Rajpath to Pangjure, near Bhattedanda, are closed.Similarly, the Besisahar-Dumre road has been closed due to a landslide, as has the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road due to flooding.

A landslide occurred in the Jaimini Municipality-Binamare area of Baglung, blocking the Kaligand corridor and stopping vehicles on their way from the village to the district headquarters in Baglung Bazar, according to police.Other road sections blocked by landslides are South Koshi Highway and Koshi Highway in Sankhuwasabha, Siddhicharan Highway in Udayapur district, Syabrubesi-Thambu Chetty road section in Rasuwa district, Chakhel-Deurali road section, Kanti Lokpath-Dakshinkali road and Bhimphedi-Kathmandu road section in Makwanpur district.Mid-Hill Highway in Sindhuli, Pasang Lhamu Road in Nuwakot, BP Highway and Arniko Highway in Kavre district, Chame-Besishahar road section in Manang, Beni-Darnang and Beni-Jomsom road sections in Myagdi, Maldhunga-Beni road sections in Lamjung, Siddhartha Highway in Syangja, and Prithvi Highway in Anbu Khaireni and Myagde of Tanhu have also been blocked by landslides.Likewise, the road sections in Pyuthan, Palpa, Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Rolpa, Dang, Kalikot, Bajhang, Darchula and Achham have been blocked by landslides. .
