The Government says Sri Lankan students involved in educational activities in coronavirus- hit countries are to be subjected to a 2 week quarantine.

Russian Navy ship ‘Admiral Vinogradov& arrived at the port of Colombo (07th March 2020). The visiting ship which is on a four-day goodwill visit was welcomed by Sri Lanka Navy in compliance with naval traditions.

The technology and new inventions national educational exhibition organized by the Education, Technology and Innovation Ministry together with several other technology institutions will be held at the Technology Village in Pitipana, Homagama on March 11, 12, 13 and 14. Minister in charge Dr. Bandula Gunawardena addressing a media briefing said that all arrangements have been made to hold this exhibition.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in partnership with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board organized a Familiarization tour of the Jordan market for a 13 member delegation of Sri Lankan entrepreneurs from 25 & 27 February to seek entry into the Jordanian market which has been hitherto largely untapped by Sri Lanka.
