KARACHI: Sindh police on Wednesday suspected that Muttahida Qaumi Movement's London and South Africa chapters were behind eliminateing of former lawmaker Ali Raza Atenderi.
Atenderi was shot multiple times external his residence in Khayaban-e-Ghazi neighbourhood of DHA on December 25.
He was shwhetherted to PNS Shwhethera Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his wounds.
Speaking to press, SSP South Pir Muhammad Shah said that investigation conducted so far has shown that members of London and South Africa group came to Karachi prior to Atenderi's assassination.
The investigation is still under way, he said.
Authorities have decided to probe suspects who are already in jails, SSP said.
