False news regarding total lock-down from 10-15 false- Police Spokesman

The Police Media Spokesman SSP Jaliya Senaratne dismissed the news being circulated over social media claiming that the government plans to completely shut down the country from April 10 to 15 and that the curfew would be strictly enforced preventing the supply of any food distribution and all shops would be compelled to close during this period and said that there was absolutely no truth to these rumors.

This group of prisoners were gradually releasedfrom March 17thuntil yesterday (04).The committee was appointed based on a request made to the president by the prisoners when the state leader visited the prisons on an inspection tour.
