The fifth Covid-19 death was reported in Sri Lanka today (04) which was confirmed by the Health Services Director General Dr. Anil Jasinghe.

Around 312 complete quarantine and head home

Over the past two days with the discovery of Covid-19 positive patients from the Beruwela area certain actions had to be taken. Accordingly, based on intelligence information and the advice of the health officials, another 226 persons who had associated with those infected were sent to the Punani quarantine centre in order to ensure the safety of the other residents in the area.
